It's Official!
I got my team recommitment papers which means it is official- I will be running my first marathon on October 23rd! How exciting! That means I have to be running on schedule with the team- so today I put in a good run before work.
The other thing it means is that I really need to up the fundraising efforts- I'm about $1200 from goal. If anyone reading this has any fundraising ideas pleas let me know!

My sister ran the Dublin marathon back in 2001 and she did a big party with raffle prizes that were donated by local businesses.
My fiance hand wrote letters to all her friends and family and was very good about follow up and thank you notes. I kept everyone informed of her progress through our blog when she did the Breast Cancer 3 day.
