Slight setback

well, since I last posted my foot was still giving me some trouble. I started to get really nervous that I would not make it for hr SF Marathon in October. After talking with my doctor, we decided I should switch to the CIM International Marathon in Sacramento. This marathon is a Boston qualifier and will give me enough time to properly train without damaging my foot.
So I am now back to training- this time with the winter Team in Training. I was really disappointed that I would not be able to do the SF Marathon- but hopefully next year. The most important thing is that I will be doing a marathon and I will be continuing to raise money for LLS.

Max- My honoree

This is a picture of Max, one of my honorees. He is just 3 years old and has had Leukemia now for a couple years. He is so cute and has so much energy. I met max and his family for the first time on Thursday and I showed him the bracelet I wear with his picture on it. He liked it. Anyways- I hope I will be able to reach my fundraising goal for him and for Oscar!
