My dog isnt as lazy as I thought!

Ellie did it! A whole 5K! With her short little legs and big fat belly- thats like doing a marathon! I am proud of my little basset. She didnt pull a "flat basset" once. She stayed focused and completed the course, then promptly laid down and looked at me like she was really pissed off. Oh well! It was fun! The Sacramento Doggie Dash is going to be on my running calendar (or with Ellie, walking calendar) from now on.
